Yep, I feel proud to be an Indian! The surge of people that went to see the movie MNIK, despite the threats and warnings from Sena Supremo as well from the activists, is a great indication of the fact that nowadays nobody is scared of the tactics used by the muddled-up political parties and their leaders.
The overwhelming response to the movie is a sign of protest against the knee-jerking attempts of the few to induce fear in the minds of the people and use that fear to come to limelight and power. Who can make them understand that those days are gone?!!??
The main lesson learnt is that if you give in to these people, they will want you to give in more and the end will be that you will be left without any identity or dignity. If you fight back, they will slide away. A perfect example of the classic Bully Syndrome!!!
The guys who thought the breaking windows, smashing up properties and issuing mind-less threats could cower people into submission can take a leak now. It is foolish even to think that these acts can win votes, and will in fact be counter-productive to what they might be imagining these nautanki can bring in. Listen to voters and the audience!!! Look at Writings in the Wall!!!
Give these people what they deserve—contempt, ridicule and no importance.
